Alex Stevenson is an image-based artist and poet based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Hailing from rural Maryland, they are inspired by the nature on the Chesapeake bay, their community, and their own life and personal history. A very introspective artist, many of Stevenson’s works explore themes and narratives from their own life while simultaneously interrogating deeper philosophical questions like what does it mean to be human?
